Hay Operations
J.K. Dairies employs more than 100 people in its Hay operation. We produce very high-quality Hay for both internal consumption and export. In 2016, we exported over 26,000 tons of Rhodes Grass Hay to various countries around the world. Over 1,500 acres plus land is utilized to achieve this endeavor. Our target is to take the figure to 15,000 tons in the near future. Besides Rhodes Grass, we also have the capacity to produce and bale Alfalfa, Javi, and Rye Grass hay.
The operation is carried out by a highly trained staff who operate the most modern CLAAS equipment (Mowers, Fluffers, Liners, and Balers). Tele-handlers are employed to load the bales directly from the field into containers without any delay.
Our Hay is of the highest quality available from Pakistan. We are proud of that fact.
